Florida Women’s Golf Signs Three to National Letters of Intent

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – University of Florida head coach Emily Glaser announced the signing of three talented women’s golfers to National Letters of Intent on Thursday. Elin EsbornMarta Perez and Carlotta Ricolfi will join the Gators’ roster for the 2016-17 season.

“Every signing class is special, and this year is no exception,” Glaser said. “We are elated to have these three student-athletes joining our family. This trio will each bring her own style for the game and their passion for the Gators to our program. They have been loyal commits and great ambassadors for our University and the women’s golf program. They have all competed for their respective National Teams and at the highest level of amateur golf. The Gator Nation has gained three exceptional young women in the 2016 signing class.”

Elin Esborn Göteborg, Sweden

  • Ranked 146th in the World Amateur Golf Rankings
  • Member of the Swedish National Team
  • Member of the 2015 European Ping Junior Solheim Team
  • Helped Sweden finish third at the 2015 World Junior Girls’ Team Championships
  • Finished seventh at the 2015 Annika Invitational Europe Championship
  • Finished third at the 2015 International French Junior
  • Finished third at the 2015 Skandia Tour Elite #1 Championship
  • Finished fourth at the 2014 Skandia Lady Junior Open
