FOUR GATORS RECEIVE SEC HONORS

Four Gators received SEC honors, as announced by the league office May 3, 2018.

Sophomores Sierra Brooks and Marta Perez were both voted to the All-SEC second team while Elin Esborn and Addie Baggarly made the All-Freshmen team.

With Brooks and Perez making the second team, this marking the third straight year Florida has had multiple players garner All-SEC team honors.

Brooks and Perez both finished inside of the top 25 on the leaderboard at the conference championship. With Perez tying for fourth, it marked the third straight year a Gator has been in the top five.

Florida has two players on the All-Freshmen team for the first time in program history. Esborn (73.76) and Baggarly (74.61) were third and fifth on the team in stroke average, respectively.

Esborn is also the Gators representative on the Community Service team. Esborn spent time working with Miracle on Main Street. She helped wrap presents for families that could not afford presents or wrapping paper. She also helped families shop for gifts.
